Milan Dehnen is a MPP candidate in the 2017 class at the Hertie School of Governance. His academic and professional work focuses on climate policies and international climate governance. His practical experience includes work at the German Ministry for the Environment, where he was part of the German negotiation team for COP21 in Paris. After COP21, he led the team responsible for the preparation and execution of the VII. Petersberg Climate Dialogue, with around 30 ministers from all over the world, Chancellor Merkel and the heads of OECD, UNFCCC and Greenpeace attending. For his BA, Milan studied international relations in Dresden and Madrid. He is a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation.
