Kora is Regulatory & Public Affairs Officer at EPEX SPOT in Paris. The European Power Exchange EPEX SPOT operates the organized short-term electricity markets in Germany, France, UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg. Kora focuses on the electricity market designs in Germany, France, Belgium and at a European level. She coordinates Regulatory Affairs within the company and represents the company’s interest in various decision-making bodies. Before joining EPEX SPOT, Kora worked at the Berlin based Public Policy Consultancy adelphi. As Project Manager, she led several research and consultancy projects in the fields of electricity markets, renewable energies and energy efficiency. Prior to that, Kora worked for the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy in Berlin. As Consultant within the “Renewables Made in Germany” initiative, she analyzed international renewable energy markets and developed new offers to support German businesses entering foreign markets in Europe. Kora completed a Double Diploma Programme in Political Science at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Lille, France, and the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster, Germany. She holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Policy & Regulation from the London School of Economics.
