Kimberly is a current MPP student at the Hertie School of Governance. She holds a BA in Environmental Science and Policy from Duke University. Prior to this, Kimberly was a voluntary research assistant at the UCLA Center for Sustainable Communities, where she was responsible for creating a data base of energy legislation in California. More recently, she served as a student intern at Ecologic Institute where she assessed the impacts of carbon leakage on industrial investment decisions. Moreover, as a student assistant to Christian Flachsland at MCC, Kimberly was responsible for analyzing the current state of California’s cap-and-trade program. Her current studies and research interests center around energy and climate change.
