Detre Teschner graduated in Veszprem (Hungary) as a chemical engineer in 1997. After his PhD study at the Institute of Isotopes (Budapest) he obtained his PhD degree in Material Sciences and Technologies in 2001. He received the Roman-Herzog Grant sponsored by the Hertie Foundation in 2002 and moved to Berlin by joining the Fritz-Haber Institute. Since then, he is a scientist in Berlin coordinating research projects in the field of heterogeneous and electro-catalysis. Up to date he is an author of nearly 100 research papers and 4 book chapters.
