Corina Murafa is a graduate of the Hertie School of Governance (2011), an alumna of the Studienkolleg zu Berlin, and currently a freelance energy consultant, working with international organisations and think tanks. In 2016 she worked as consultant on European affairs and corporate governance for the State Secretary on Energy and for the Finance Ministry. Between 2014 and 2016 she worked as a World Bank energy expert, permanently stationed in the Delivery Unit of Romania’s Prime Minister.
Between 2011 and 2014 she worked as a Regulatory and Public Affairs Expert for OMV Petrom, the largest integrated oil and gas company in South – Eastern Europe, having had previous stints with Deloitte and UNDP. In the past, Corina coordinated research projects on service delivery and the public policy cycle for the Romanian Academic Society. She is also civically engaged, as an associate fellow to the Aspen Institute Romania.
