Andrei is freelancer working on renewable energy, consulting the World Bank amongst others. He was previously working as Associate Professional with the Costing Department of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). His work revolves around analyzing the global costs and performance evolution of renewable energy technologies. At IRENA, Andrei co-authored two flagship publications on renewable energy technology cost evolution and outlook and contributed, with data and/or analysis, to numerous other publications among which the IEA World Energy Outlook 2016, IRENA – IEA Perspectives for the Energy Transition and REN21 – Renewables 2016 & 2017 Global Status Report. Andrei graduated from the Master of Public Policy of the Hertie School of Governance where he attended as a Future of Europe Scholarship recipient, a Master in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in his native country of Romania.
